The Literati School System
Worth of education
The importance of education cannot be denied by anyone. In today’s world, the role of education has become even more vital and is an absolute necessity for any nation in achieving economic, political and social stability.
Education encompasses both the teaching and learning of knowledge, proper conduct, and technical competency. It focuses on the cultivation of skills, as well as mental, moral and aesthetic development.
An uneducated person cannot read and write and hence he is closed to all the knowledge and wisdom he can gain through books and other mediums. In contrast, an educated man lives in a room with all its windows open towards outside world.
In almost all societies, attending school and receiving an education is extremely imperative and obligatory if one wants to accomplish success. It is through education that knowledge and information is spread throughout the world. It plays a vital role in an individual’s life and ensures a brighter future.
However, unfortunately there are places in the world, where not everyone has an opportunity to receive formal or non formal type of education. Pakistan stands among these deprived countries of the world, where education is a luxury for most of the children. The opportunities that are offered are limited and inadequate. Sometimes there are not sufficient resources to provide schooling for every child. Furthermore because parents need their children to help them work in factories, have odd jobs, or just do farm work, schooling and education is neglected by them, thus leaving the children uneducated.-
The Literati School System
The Literati Foundation, a non- profit organization, registered under 1860 ACT, has moved forward to help out the deprived children by providing them a platform of free and low cost education. The members of The Literati Foundation in 2004 opened up another low cost / free school by the name of The Literati School System, which targets the marginalized group of society. The Literati School System is a registered, Playgroup to Matric level school that serves the needs of the poor, needy and deprived children.
